Key Takeaways
Let’s Work Together More Often
Collaboration is always the best way to create new ideas and solve problems. Listening to other ideas can help you learn way more than figuring it out by yourself. If conflict is present, then that is a natural part of the process of problem solving.
Know When To Step Aside
Sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war. The outcome simply has to benefit your customers and/or business.
Challenges Are A Part Of Growth
In business, and in life, you meet people that may not see the world the same way you do. Sometimes they will challenge you. Don’t focus on the ugliness, strive to effectively communicate and have an open conversation.
Remember, relationships take work. Listen and be a part of the process.
What Does A Thriving, Effective Community Look Like?
Don’t think of your business as just a place that sees customers come in and out. Create a space where people can gather and take the opportunity to know each other.
Get Involved in Local & Regional Government
Sometimes we don’t know how much of an affect we can have on local government. We have an amazing amount of ability to affect change in our cities. You just have to take part in it, be a part of the process. Getting involved at the local government level is worth it when you experience the positive outcome of transforming your community.
